Animal Feed
Every animal at Peggy's Peacock Palace receives the same high standard of care, whether they arrived as a rescue or serve as an ambassador helping us educate visitors. Many of our ambassador animals were rescued themselves, and all food donations directly support the daily care of the animals who call the sanctuary home.
Every species has unique nutritional needs. Below are some of the feeds we use most often. If you would like to donate a specific product, we've included links to many of our preferred brands.

Many of these supplies can be purchased from Tractor Supply, local hardware stores, or donated directly from home improvement projects. Even leftover building materials can help improve the lives of our animals. (The only time we can't take used materials is when the condition is bad enough the cost of removing and replacing them in a year outweighs the cost of buying new).

🌟 Major Equipment Needs
Some projects simply aren't possible without specialized equipment. These larger items would dramatically improve our ability to build habitats, install fencing, expand utilities, and maintain the sanctuary while reducing labor and long-term costs.
Our Dream Equipment
🚜 Walk-Behind Trencher
Installing water lines, electrical service, irrigation, and fencing requires hundreds—sometimes thousands—of feet of trenching. A walk-behind trencher would save countless hours of manual labor or the expense of hiring a contractor and allow us to complete infrastructure projects much more efficiently.
🚧 Mini Excavator
A compact excavator would help us build new habitats, install fencing, move rocks and gravel, repair water systems, dig ponds, improve drainage, and complete projects that are currently beyond our physical capabilities. (an attachment that goes on the back of the John Deere would work, but some areas are a little harder to get our farm tractor in.)
